main shopping area is based not that far

Hotel’s position walking distance to all places we wanted to see, like belgian comic strip center. The room had a nice balcony. Location close to Madou.
-
You can very easily access the metro line
-
the huge disadvantage was the price as compared to the quality of the room.
-
Clean and comfortable with a very pleasant bathroom. My room also had a large window looking out over the Jardin Botanique.

By Brussels' standards a relatively quiet and at least to some extent isolated hotel. Breakfast was (again in comparison to what you normally get in Brussels) good.
Considerable streetnoise, bit too expensive for what it offers.

The day-time manager was quite helpful. The evening staff was limited in their understanding of English. The construction and renovations were not a problem, although from the exterior, it was not as inviting.
The hotel was a bit difficult to find. Once it was located, the location was convenient to public transport. It would be good to have a map with the website for the hotel.

Position near railway station
no possible this hotel is a Best Western. Old and little room, dirty in the moquette and in the walls. No confort.
-
The wifi is MAC-address restricted and limited to only one device.
-
ideal location near to Nord station
-
Site of hotel and the personnel relation.

The hotel staff is very helpful, the location is great, near North Train Station, City2 and Grand Place. Unlike other hotels in Brussels, you don't get much noise here.. and you get free Wi-fi. I will certainly come back.
Personally I had no problems, but the neighborhood may seem dangerous. I wouldn't advise this hotel for women traveling alone or families with children.

It was nice that we got "welcome drink" when we were checking-in. We had a little problem with a room caused by the hotel, but we didn't get poor impression because the desk clerk solved the problem so quickly. The hotel itself is kind of small, the hallway is like just only 1 m wide, but the room was clean and comfortable.
The room had not been cleand when we entered the room. But it was good that the clerk found a another room for us even though we heard the the hotel was fully booked on that day. It was a little bit hard to change to shower, but it was not a big problem.
